Susana Tsah, Founder of Yahweh Ghana Kids Tsah's Rescue Foundation, is a Connecticut resident with a deep personal connection to Ghana through her father, who was born there. Growing up with both American and Ghanaian heritage gave her a unique appreciation for two cultures and inspired a lifelong passion for serving others.
The vision for the foundation was born after Susana traveled to Ghana and witnessed firsthand the overwhelming needs of vulnerable children. She met children who had lost their families, lacked access to education, and struggled daily without basic necessities such as food, clothing, or shoes. Many dreamed of attending school but were unable to because their families could not afford tuition, uniforms, or school supplies. Others simply wondered where their next meal would come from.
For many years, Susana has had a heart for children's ministry. However, her experience in Ghana transformed her understanding of where she felt called to serve. She realized that while children everywhere deserve love and support, many communities overseas face challenges far beyond what she had imagined. This experience became the driving force behind establishing Yahweh Ghana Kids Tsah's Rescue Foundation.
Today, the foundation is dedicated to bringing hope to orphaned and vulnerable children by providing food, education, clothing, healthcare, and a safe, nurturing environment where they can thrive. Every child deserves the opportunity to dream, learn, and build a brighter future, regardless of the circumstances into which they were born.
Susana believes that lasting change happens when compassionate people come together with a shared purpose. Through the generosity of donors, volunteers, and community partners, Yahweh Ghana Kids Tsah's Rescue Foundation is committed to restoring hope, changing lives, and empowering the next generation of children in Ghana—one child, one family, and one community at a time.
